Crash cleared at U.S. 501 Waccamaw River Bridge; left lane now open

The left lane on U.S. 501 southbound at Waccamaw River Bridge was briefly closed Friday morning following a car crash.

South Carolina Department of Transportation officials said a crash happened at 7:46 a.m. Friday and that one lane is currently closed and reported the crash was cleared at 9:07 a.m.

Morning motorists may still experience some delays in the area.
