Lanes closed on U.S. 17 Bypass at Glenn’s Bay Road due to crash

Two lanes of traffic are blocked on U.S. 17 Bypass at Glenn’s Bay Road Wednesday morning due to a car crash, officials said.

A crash with injuries reported happened at 7:14 a.m. at Glenn’s Bay Road and U.S. 17 Bypass, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol website.

The outside westbound lane of Holmestown Road from US 17 Bypass to Blue Jay Drive was closed at 7 a.m. Wednesday morning for a construction project, which is adding to the traffic snag.

The lane is scheduled to be closed until 5 p.m. on Friday, according to Horry County officials.
