Headed to Myrtle Beach Bike Rally? Here are cheap or free parking options to see the Hogs
There’s no question as to when the 2025 Myrtle Beach Bike Rally has rolled into town.
The roar of motorcycles is unmistakable as bikes and cars navigate the stop-and-go traffic on U.S. 17 Business in Murrells Inlet.
For motorcyclists, finding parking can be easy. The two largest biker bars in the area, the Beaver Bar and Suck Bang Blow, offer free motorcycle parking, said Myrtle Beach Bike Rally spokesperson Lee “Spider” Webb in a text to The Sun News.
Suck Bang Blow usually has more space for motorcycles than the Beaver Bar.
Typically other businesses along the U.S. 17 Business will offer paid parking, ranging from $5 to $30 depending on if it is a car or motorcycle.
But if you drive to the event in a car, finding a parking spot can be a nightmare.
The 2025 Myrtle Beach Bike Rally will be from May 9 through May 18. Here’s where to park for free or cheap in Murrells Inlet during the rally.
South Strand Assembly of God
The local church has opened its land to motorcycle rally attendees for many years. In past years, it cost $5 to park a motorcycle and $10 to park a car, a South Strand Assembly of God employee told The Sun News. This is a solid spot as it is located on U.S. 17 Business in between Suck Bang Blow and the Beaver Bar.
Street parking
If attendees can get to the rally earlier in the day, street parking could be a budget-friendly and close option. In Georgetown County, where the border starts in the space between South Strand Assembly of God and the Beaver Bar, people are allowed to park along the street for free.
Vehicles must be parked entirely in the right-of-way — the grassy area in front of homes — with no tires on the road, said Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Jason Lesley.
“People do get parking tickets, especially for parking in front of people’s houses and having wheels on the pavement,” Lesley said.
There are a number of side streets in Georgetown County near the rally where, if the road is clear of no parking signs, people can park for free.
