This busy Myrtle Beach, SC roadway has shut down lanes to traffic. When will it reopen?
The city of Myrtle Beach has announced an emergency road closure to one of its busy roadways.
Northbound lanes of Robert M. Grissom Parkway from U.S. 501 to Mr. Joe White Avenue are closed due to “pavement failure,” Myrtle Beach officials said.
The closure will last until 8 p.m. Tuesday and southbound lanes will likely be closed Wednesday, according to a Facebook post.
Myrtle Beach Spokesperson Mark Kruea said sewer lines are being installed underground in the area which caused the pavement to collapse. The city has to patch the hole.
