Lane closures and detours to impact traffic on one of Myrtle Beach’s main roadways
Drivers can expect lane closures and detours on Mr. Joe White Avenue beginning Friday through Sunday, the City of Myrtle Beach posted on social media.
The closures will happen from U.S. 17 to the Frontage Road to allow Myrtle Beach Public Works crews to replace sewer line valves, the Facebook post said.
Motorists headed eastbound on Mr. Joe White Avenue from U.S. 17 will be detoured to 21st Avenue North until Sunday morning. Then, the closure will switch to westbound traffic on Mr. Joe White Avenue, the post said.
Motorists can expect both day and night work in the area on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the post said.
