Horry County Fire Rescue responds to car in pond in Myrtle Beach

Horry County Fire Rescue responded Monday morning to a car flipped over in a retention pond, according to a tweet from the agency.

Officials asked people to avoid the area of Highway 22 and Kings Road in Myrtle Beach as crews worked on the scene.

It is unclear whether anybody was injured.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
