CCU graduation shifts indoors because of Subtropical Storm Ana
Two down, two to go.
Subtropical storm Ana forced Coastal Carolina University to shift its commencement usually held outdoors at Brooks Stadium into four ceremonies at the HTC Center, with two ceremonies Friday and two more on tap Saturday.
Scheduled commencement speaker Michael J. Gerson, the former speechwriter for President George W. Bush, will appear only at the Saturday morning ceremony. University spokeswoman Martha Hunn said the deans of the other three colleges will speak at their respective ceremonies.
