Myrtle Beach man reports beer stolen to police

A Myrtle Beach man told police that someone broke into his shed and stole a 12 pack of beer from his refrigerator, officers said.

Police were called about 5:30 p.m. Monday to the 1000 block of Park Drive in Myrtle Beach where a 73-year-old man reported the incident, according a report.

The man told authorities that some time during the night someone pried the shed window open. Police said the alleged thief broke the wood paneling around the window, removed the screen, and pushed out the window.

The man said that many objects in the shed had been moved around from their original places, but nothing was missing except a 12 pack of Budlight, according to the report.

There was no other damage reported.

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
