Myrtle Beach man reports assault following lewd conversation to police
A Myrtle Beach man told police he was assaulted by his former neighbors when he asked them to leave his home after they started discussing their sexual relationship, according to a police report.
Police were called about 7 p.m. Friday to an apartment complex at 6505 Hawthorne Lane where a 46-year-old man reported the incident, authorities said.
The victim told officers that he invited his former neighbors over to drink alcohol. He said the man and woman began to discuss their sexual relationship, and he asked them to leave because “he did not want that conversation in his house,” according to the report.
The victim said the man and woman then refused to leave and started arguing. He said both of them punched him in the face and that he did defend himself by striking back. The victim said the alleged offenders then threw beer on him and knocked over several things in his living room before leaving on foot, police said.
The alleged offenders were not there when police arrived, and police said the victim did have redness and bruising under his right eye.
The victim was unsure where the alleged offenders currently lived. No arrests had been made as of Saturday morning. Police are still investigating the incident and plan to charge the alleged offenders with third degree assault and battery.
