Broadway at the Beach employee reports Victoria’s Secret store window broken to Myrtle Beach police
A security office employee at Broadway at the Beach called Myrtle Beach police after a maintenance technician noticed the front window of Victoria’s Secret had been shattered, according to a police report.
Officers were called about 1 a.m. Saturday to Victoria’s Secret at 1206 Celebrity Circle at Broadway at the Beach where the incident was reported, police said.
Authorities were told that a maintenance technician was walking by the store when he noticed the front window was shattered. He contacted the Broadway at the Beach security office, who then called the police.
Police are unsure who damaged the window and what time the incident occurred. Broadway at the Beach security is still in the process of checking footage for information, according to the report.
The front window has a double pane of glass, and the second layer of glass was said to be intact. Police said it looked like no one entered the store.
No further details were available. Police are still investigating the incident.
