Myrtle Beach Wal-Mart employee reports beer, underwear theft
A Wal-Mart employee reported a shoplifting incident involving beer and underwear to Myrtle Beach police.
Officers were called about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday to the Wal-Mart at 541 Seaboard St., where a loss prevention associate reported the incident, according to a police report.
Harold Cedar Burnside, 45, was arrested and charged with shoplifting, police said.
Officers were told Burnside took empty bags from a store register and proceeded to place men’s boxer shorts and two beers into a bag. He passed all points of sell without paying for the items, and police were then contacted about the incident.
