Police arrest woman for striking man with coffee cup

Myrtle Beach Police arrested 58-year-old Twila Jane Walters on Sunday when learning she had struck a man with a coffee cup.

When arriving on the scene on Bryant Street in Myrtle Beach, police noticed the man bleeding from his head. The victim said that the woman had hit him with a blunt object, which she later admitted to and told officers it was a coffee cup, according to police reports.

The man received four stitches at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
