Woman robbed of car at gunpoint by masked men

A woman told Myrtle Beach police two masked men stole her rental car at gunpoint while she was at a bus station parking lot early Wednesday morning.

A patrolling Myrtle Beach officer was flagged down about 2:30 a.m. by a 57-year-old woman at the intersection of Seventh Avenue North and Chester Street, police said.

The victim told police that two men stole her car at gunpoint while she was at the Greyhound bus station parking lot, a police report states.

She said the two men, who were both wearing masks and had handguns, opened her car door and took the four-door Hyundai accent she said she rented from an agency at the Myrtle Beach International Airport, according to the report.

Police said they reviewed camera footage and saw the victim’s car enter the parking lot at 2:05 a.m. and leave the area headed southbound on Oak Street about 2:25 a.m., the report states.
