A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting at Pure Ultra Club earlier this month that caused hundreds in damages to the club, police said.

Elijah Shakeed Spivey is charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and discharging firearms into a dwelling, according to Myrtle Beach Jail records.

The charges stem from a shooting that happened about 1:40 a.m. July 3, according to a police report. Officers were called to the Pure Ultra Club on the 800 block of Main Street in Myrtle Beach in reference to a complaint of shots fired, police said.

Authorities investigated and determined no one was injured by gunfire, officers said; however, police said about $700 in damage was done during the shooting to the club’s windows, according to the report.

Spivey was arrested Wednesday on the 1400 block of Shavis Court, jail records show. He is being held at the Myrtle Beach Jail where his bond has not been set, according to records.
