Man arrested in connection with reported Broadway at the Beach sexual assault

A 27-year-old man was arrested in connection with a sexual assault that allegedly happened at Senor Frogs at Broadway at the Beach last month.

Ryan John Reed is charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct and kidnapping, according to Myrtle Beach Jail records.

Myrtle Beach police were called on June 12 to Conway Medical Center in reference to the alleged sexual assault that reportedly happened about 11:45 p.m. June 11 at Senor Frogs at Broadway at the Beach, according to a police report.

The victim’s age was not listed in the report and details outlining the alleged assault were not given in the incident report.

Reed was arrested Thursday and his bond had not been set, according to jail records.
