Little River shooting sends one man to hospital

Horry County police are investigating a shooting in Little River that sent one man to the hospital Wednesday afternoon.

One man was shot inside a home on Malcolm Drive around 2:41 p.m., according to Lt. Raul Denis of the Horry County Police Department. The man was transported to a local hospital.

Denis was not familiar with the extent of the man’s injuries.

“We’re there investigating now,” Denis said.

The suspect is unknown at this time, he added.
