Myrtle Beach Police investigating shooting on Kings Highway

Myrtle Beach police say two people were transported to the hospital after a shooting near 24th Avenue North and North Kings Highway Saturday night.

Police responded to the shooting just after 11:30 p.m.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a possible motive in the shooting was robbery, according to Lt. Joey Crosby of the Myrtle Beach Police Department. The condition of the victims have not been released.

Police are seeking a suspect described as a 5-foot-10-inch tall black male weighing approximately 150 pounds and last seen wearing a black shirt and black baggy pants.

Police say the suspect was last seen running north from the incident location. Anyone with information is asked to call the Myrtle Beach Police Department at 843-918-1382.
