Man wanted for Myrtle Beach shooting turns self into Sumter police
One man is charged with violating his parole in connection to the weekend shooting at Holiday Sands North hotel in Myrtle Beach.
Shaylan Chavoris Isaac, 21, turned himself into Sumter police on Wednesday without incident, according to Ken Bell, Sumter police spokesman. A relative brought Isaac to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office where he was arrested without incident. He was taken to the Sumter-Lee Regional Detention Center where an additional warrant was served on Isaac for violating the terms of his parole, Bell said.
Isaac is wanted for attempted murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, Myrtle Beach Police said on its Facebook page. Police have one other suspect in custody connected to the shooting, but have not released any more details.

Police say Isaac allegedly fired the shots that sent one victim to the hospital, then Isaac fled the scene.
The shooting happened about 1:30 a.m. Sunday at the Holiday Sands North off Ocean Boulevard near Fourth Avenue North. One person was shot and taken to the hospital; the victim’s condition was unknown Sunday afternoon.
