Myrtle Beach police responded to shots fired from a car Saturday night.

The witness told police that he was working the barricades at 17th Avenue South and Yaupon Drive about 11:50 p.m.

At that time, a silver Chevy Impala approached the intersection and a passenger asked if they could go past the barricades.

After the witness said no, the car turned around and a passenger hanging outside the car fired one to two shots from a handgun, according to the police report.

The suspect is described as a black male with shoulder length dreads, wearing a black leather biker vest, white T-shirt and jeans.

The driver was described as a female with black straight hair wearing a black shirt and jeans.
