Suspects sought after an attempted armed robbery at Waffle House

The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in identifying two suspects in connection to an attempted arm robbery.

The incident occurred on Saturday about 11:24 p.m. at the Waffle House at 10337 Ocean Highway in Pawleys Island.

According to a press release from the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office, two black males were spotted walking around the building.

Employees told police that one of the suspects was carrying a long gun, that appeared to be a shot gun.

Employees locked the entrance to prevent the suspects from entering.

The suspects then fled the scene.

Police are looking for a black male between 5’8” and 5’10” wearing a blue jacket and dark pants.

The second suspect is a black male 6’ to 6’2” wearing a striped shirt, dark colored pants, facial covering and ball cap.
