Prostitution busts land two in jail in Myrtle Beach

Myrtle Beach police arrested two women for alleged prostitution on Saturday.

The first arrest occurred on 13th Avenue South and Yaupon Drive about 6:05 p.m.

Police arrested Krystyna Edyta Kalinka, 31, on charges of prostitution , first offense.

An officer working undercover was driving southbound on Ocean Boulevard when he witnessed Kalinka flagging down vehicles.

The officer pulled up beside Kalinka and she told him to pull up to the beach access. After a brief discussion she agreed to have sex with the officer for $50.

Later Saturday, police arrested Michelle Renee Rowan, 23, on charges of prostitution, first offense.

This arrest was made in the 200 block of 1st Avenue North and Flagg Street.

No other details are available on that arrest at this time
