Three arrested in three Myrtle Beach armed robberies

Three people were arrested Friday in connection with two Myrtle Beach robberies in the last two months.

Lauren Rochele Tucker, 21, and Jamaine Donnell Wilson,43, were each charged with armed robbery that occurred April 23 when a taxi driver was robbed near the Circle K at 1695 U.S. 501.

The driver reported a struggle with one of the suspects. Both men reportedly fled to the Racepath community.

The second incident happened April 24 at Quail Marsh Apartments at 21st. Avenue North and Greens Boulevard. In that incident, the men are accused of being involved with a BB gun shooting. Police were called to a man shot in the chin and neck with a BB gun, according to a police report.

Both men face charges of armed robbery, kidnapping, assault first and burglary first degree.

In a separate incident, Don Craig Zeman was arrested in Bryson City, N.C., by officers with the U.S. Marshal Task Force on Thursday, according to a Myrtle Beach police report. Zeman was wanted by the Myrtle Beach Police Department for armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, according to the release.

Zeman was the suspect in the robbery of the Royal Cleaners, 5327 N. Kings Highway, on March 3,. Zeman is currently being housed at the Swain County Jail in Bryson City, N.C., awaiting extradition back to Myrtle Beach.
