The suspect then told the man to empty his pockets and take off his ring. The victim handed over $800, his ring, valued at $3,000, and his identification documents as the other suspect grabbed his things, police said.
The armed suspect then appeared to pull the gun’s trigger as the elevator door opened, and he told the suspect to get off the elevator, according to the report.
The two suspects stayed on the elevator after victim got out. He told the hotel manager about the incident, and the manager called police.
