Man robbed of wallet at gunpoint at Myrtle Beach hotel room

“Give me your wallet or I’m going to kill you,” a suspect told a man before the suspect pulled out a gun and entered the victim’s hotel room.

The 50-year-old victim told police he was standing in the doorway of his hotel room at 806 S. Ocean Blvd. smoking a cigarette early Tuesday morning when the suspects approached him and threatened him.

The male and female suspect then went into the victim’s hotel room and took his wallet, containing $200, a check in the amount of $1,004, and credit and debit cards, according to a Myrtle Beach police report.

Officers responded about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, and the victim told them the suspects left after taking his wallet, running toward what appeared to be a dark-colored station wagon, authorities said.

The victim then saw them head southbound on Ocean Boulevard, according to the report.

No arrests were made in connection to the incident by Wednesday morning.
