Man is shot with a taser and robbed on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk
Myrtle Beach Police are looking for two suspects who allegedly shot a man with a taser and robbed him on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk near the 500 block of N. Ocean Blvd.
A police officer was flagged down Sunday morning by a man who told the officer he was robbed around 1:40 a.m.
According to the police report the man was smoking a cigarette on the Boardwalk when two men approached him and asked if he knew where they could get marijuana. He told them he did not know.
The victim told police that they continued to ask him and then one of the men tased him in his upper right thigh.
The suspect then asked him to empty out his pockets. The victim told police that he gave them 20 dollars. The suspects then fled, according to the report.
Two witnesses nearby, confirmed the victim’s story.
