Update: Myrtle Beach Police arrest man for attempted murder
A man was arrested in Myrtle Beach Saturday on charges of attempted murder.
Myrtle Beach police arrested Jeffrey Allen Fredzess, 24.
Earlier on Saturday, officers responded to the area of North Kings Highway and 2nd Avenue on a report of aggravated assault.
According to the police report, witnesses told police that the victim was stabbed twice by Fredzess.
One witness told police she overheard Fredzess say ‘I’m gonna kill you man, I’m gonna kill you’ just before the stabbing, according to the report.
Because Fredzess used a knife, caused two stab wounds that required hospitalization, and exhibited an intent to kill, a probable cause affidavit was submitted to charge Fredzess with attempted murder.
Fredzess is being held in the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
