Elderly man robbed, stripped, shot in Conway

A 66-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint, stripped of his clothes, and shot in the foot, according to a Conway police report.

Officers were called about 6:15 a.m. Sunday to a cab company on Fourth Avenue in Conway for an exposure complaint and found the victim, who had been undressed.

The victim told police he was robbed at gunpoint and said the suspects took his clothes then shot him in the foot, authorities said.

EMS was called to the scene, and the victim was treated then taken to Conway Medical Center.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
