Police investigating body found in Pawleys Island community

A body has been found in a marsh in the Pawleys Island community of Georgetown County, according to the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to the scene on Bannockburn Drive just south of Hagley Landing.

There is no further information at this time.
