Myrtle Beach police are asking for the public’s help in finding a male suspect described as “armed and extremely dangerous.”

Dameion Hakeem Alston is wanted in connection with first-degree burglary, kidnapping, assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, and use of a weapon in commission of a violent felony after an incident was reported Jan. 27 in the 200 block of Cedar Street, police said.

A 37-year-old female victim told police that the suspect, also known as “Demon” according to a police report, knocked on her door then forced his way inside and began choking her and holding a gun to her head while asking her where items were located, authorities said.
