Conway man arrested after home invasion injures 2 men
A Conway man is charged with assault and battery and kidnapping after a violent home invasion Saturday night.
Ronnie Lavon Moses, II, 23, is charged with kidnapping, armed robbery, burglary, assault and battery in the second degree and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Moses is being held at J. Reuben Detention Center awaiting bond, according to jail records.
Moses was arrested Thursday, according to jail records.
Police responded to 1682 Destiny Lane in Conway around 10 p.m. Saturday in reference to an armed robbery. The victim told police he was sitting on a couch in his living room when an unknown black male pointed a gun at him and made him get onto the floor, the police report said.
The suspect kicked the 21-year-old victim in the face and head which caused “visible injuries” before going into a back bedroom, the report said.
A second victim said he was sleeping in his bed when the suspect woke him up with a gun to the victim’s face, the report said. The suspect hit the victim in the back of the head before making him get down on the floor in the living room near the first victim.
The second victim’s injuries required several staples in the back of his head, the report said, while the first victim suffered a chipped tooth.
The armed man stole several things from the residence, including a watch, iPhone, shoes and a hover board, police said.
