Five charged with attempted murder in Myrtle Beach shooting involving juveniles
Five teenagers, including two juveniles, are charged with attempted murder after a shooting on Washington Street in Myrtle Beach.
Ahmad Demont Pryor, 17, was arrested Sunday and charged with attempted murder, according to J. Reuben Long Detention Center records.
Ryan Jobe Harrell, 18, was arrested Tuesday and is charged with attempted murder and discharging a firearm into a residence. Harrell is awaiting bond at the Myrtle Beach jail.
Dajour Marquise Davon Wilson, 19, was also arrested Monday and is charged with attempted murder and discharging a firearm into a residence. Wilson is awaiting bond on both charges but has two bench warrants, according to jail records.
Myrtle Beach police were called to 1109 Washington St. on Thursday around 8:52 p.m. for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived a witness told police her son, the victim, had just been shot at, according to the police report.
The victim left with a family member before officers arrived, police said.
The witness told police she was sitting on the couch and heard something outside, so she looked out her door. She then saw an unknown suspect shoot at the victim, but the victim ran into the house and was not injured, the report said.
A second witness told police he was in his room when he heard several gunshots, which he thought were fireworks, the report said. The witness went to the door and then determined the sounds were gunshots, police said.
The victim is a juvenile so his age is not listed in the report.
Police found several shell casings near the road and a bullet hole in the house next door, according to the report. The unknown suspects left the scene in a white four-door vehicle prior to the officers’ arrival, the report said.
According to a warrant for Wilson, police determined Wilson was in the car when the shots were fired.
Surveillance video from the area also shows the vehicle leaving the area when the shooting occurred, according to the warrant.
Wilson acted in concert with others while the shots were fired from the vehicle in which he was in and that was the cause for his arrest, according to the warrant.
