Police find suspect wanted for assault and possible kidnapping

Horry County police have arrested a man in connection with an assault and possible kidnapping.

Pete Morgan Grey III, 32, was arrested Sunday about 9:41 p.m. This was after HCPD detectives sent out an alert earlier Sunday asking for help to find Grey.

According to Horry County police, Grey was apprehended without incident.

Grey was wanted for allegedly assaulting a woman at a location on Highway 707 on January 7.

Grey is in the J Reuben Long Detention Center awaiting charges.
