Myrtle Beach police have made an arrest in connection to a shooting on Saturday.

Police arrested Edward Dominique Bellamy, 30, Sunday evening on charges of attempted murder.

Officers were called about 1 a.m. Saturday to an apartment building on the 600 block of 36th Avenue North after getting reports of shots fired in the area, according to an incident report.

Two apartment buildings and a car were sprayed by bullets Saturday, and several roads were closed overnight while police investigated.

About 40 shell casings were found in the roadway and outside a building on 36th Avenue North, police said.
