The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the community’s help in finding a stolen boat and trailer, according to a press release.

On Monday, sheriff’s office deputies responded to a home on the 5100 block of U.S. 17 Business in Murrells Inlet where a boat and trailer were reportedly stolen from the owner’s yard, police said.

The boat was last seen parked in the yard on Jan. 2, and the boat is described as a gray-and-white, 19.2-foot 1998 Key West with a black 1998 mariner and 115 horsepower motor, authorities said.

Anyone with information can call the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office at 843-546-5101.
