Two women arrested in connection with prostitution in Horry County
Two North Carolina women were arrested Thursday on prostitution charges in Horry County, according to J. Reuben Long Detention Center records.
Sara Katherine Byrd, 21, of Shallotte, N.C. is charged with prostitution; lewdness, assignation and prostitution generally, according to records.
Sydney Rose Lea, 17, of Ocean Isle, N.C. is also charged with prostitution; lewdness, assignation and prostitution generally, and both women were booked into the jail at 10:59 p.m. Thursday, records show.
The women were arrested by Horry County police, but reports outlining the details of their arrests were not immediately available on Friday morning.
