Conway police investigating attempted murder

Conway police are investigating an attempted murder after suspects walked up to a victim reportedly firing guns at him on Sunday night.

Officers were called about 8:45 p.m. Sunday to the 300 block of El Bethel Road after a 22-year-old victim was shot at by suspects, authorities said.

The suspects walked up and allegedly fired shots at the victim, who was in a pickup truck and drove through a ditch on El Bethel Road and away from the scene, according a police report.

Witnesses said the suspects left the area headed toward Church Street, and police found shell casings at the scene.

Authorities are still investigating the incident, and no arrests had been made as of Saturday morning, Lt. Selena Small with Conway police said.
