Police looking for suspect after man hit by car in Club Pulse parking lot fight, two arrested
Myrtle Beach police are searching for a suspect who allegedly hit another man with his car following an argument that started inside Club Pulse, authorities said.
Police were called about 1:30 a.m. Friday to Club Pulse at 2701 S. Kings Highway and found two men there who said they got into a fight with another man inside the club after the man called them “derogatory” names, according to an incident report.
Carter R. Steele, 28, is charged with disorderly conduct, and Travis C Wampler, 25, is charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct. The men were arrested after reporting the incident, but authorities are still searching for the man the pair fought with, police said.
The men said the fight started in the club and continued to the parking lot where the unknown suspect allegedly got into his blue Mustang and hit one of the men before driving off, authorities said.
Video surveillance that police reviewed showed the men fighting and the unknown suspect getting into his car, putting it in reverse, driving toward one of the men and hitting him with the car while leaving the parking lot, according to the report.
