Man held at knife point, robber only gets away with $5
Myrtle Beach Police responded to a robbery report on Sunday night.
The victim tells police he was walking along 15th Avenue South near Yaupon Street, about 7 p.m., when the suspect approached him from across the street.
According to the police report, the suspect placed a pocket knife against the victim’s neck and demanded his money.
The victim gave the suspect $5 and the suspect fled.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5’7,” 200lbs, with shoulder length dreads. He was wearing a black hoodie.
