Update: Police release more details on woman charged with prostitution
A woman charged with prostitution Tuesday was arrested by an undercover Myrtle Beach police officer, according to a police report.
Judianne C. Freidman, 38, of Murrells Inlet is charged with sex/prostitution, first offense, and was being held at J. Reuben Long Detention Center, where her bond had not been set Wednesday morning.
She was picked up by an undercover police officer about 12:15 a.m. Tuesday in the area of 12th Avenue South and Ocean Boulevard after he saw her lingering there, authorities said.
Freidman immediately got into the officer’s car when he pulled up and agreed to have sex if the officer “loaned her $50,” according to the report.
Freidman told the officer to pull off Ocean Boulevard because she saw an unmarked car, and a traffic stop was later initiated at a motel on 28th Avenue South, police said.
Once police took her to the Myrtle Beach Jail, they learned she had an outstanding bench warrant under an alias.
Prior to Freidman’s arrest, a 32-year-old woman was picked up in connection with prostitution.
Aprille Chantel Dockery is charged with sex/prostitution, first offense, and was picked up by police about 1:38 a.m. Monday on the 1200th block of South Ocean Boulevard, records show.
A police report outlining the circumstances of her arrest was not available Wednesday morning.
