Officials offering up to $5,000 reward for information on Conway shooting

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, in cooperation with Horry County police, are offering a $5,000 reward to anyone with information about a Conway shooting last month.

Officers responded to 1321 Colletta Court in Conway on Nov. 24 in response to a shooting around 10 p.m., according to a police report. Two witnesses told police four people – two women and two men – were shot while sitting in a living room.

The victims and several others were having a “get together” at the home before the shooting, the report said. Several people left the party and the two witnesses walked into a back bedroom when they heard several gunshots, police said.

One victim was laying in the kitchen with a gunshot wound to his leg and arm, and the three other victims were bleeding on the living room floor, police said.

The victims were taken to the hospital and treated for their wounds, according to Lt. Raul Denis with Horry County police. The suspect – an unidentified black male – fled the scene, he said.

The ATF announced Friday a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect, Denis said. Horry County police and the ATF continue to investigate, Denis said.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call ATF at 1-800-283-4867 or Horry police at 843-915-8477.
