Conway Police: Woman charged with homicide by child abuse

A Conway woman is charged with homicide by child abuse.

About 11 a.m. Wednesday, Conway police were called to Grand Strand Medical Center for a 3-year-old child that was brought in by Horry County EMS with life threatening injuries.

Jada Strange, 3, Conway, died as a result of her injuries Thursday.

According to a press release from Sgt. Darren Alston of the Conway Police Department, Alicia Kasper, 29, was arrested Saturday and charged with homicide by child abuse, following an investigation.

The relationship between Kasper and Strange has not been released, but both resided at the same address, according to Conway police.
