Police: One person detained after Myrtle Beach shooting
Myrtle Beach police have detained one person in connection to a shooting on Main Street Tuesday afternoon.
Officers responded to 803 Main St. in Myrtle Beach at 4:47 p.m. in reference to a shooting, according to Lt. Joey Crosby with Myrtle Beach police.
One person was transported to the hospital, but their condition is unknown at the time, Crosby said.
Police identified and detained a “potential suspect” in their investigation, and police will release more information when it becomes available, Crosby said.
