Conway police search for attempted arm robbery suspect

Conway Police are searching for a man who attempted to rob a convenience store.

The incident happened about 9:30 p.m. Saturday at the Quik Mart at 1813 Wright Boulevard in Conway.

According to a press release from Sergeant Darren Alston with the Conway Police Department, the suspect entered the store, presented a small handgun and demanded money.

The clerk refused and the suspect fled the scene.

The suspect is identified as a black male between 5’10” and 6’, wearing a dark jacket, gray Army T-shirt and jeans.
