Georgetown man facing multiple drug, other charges after search warrant served

A 24-year-old wanted Georgetown man was arrested Thursday after police found drugs packaged for sale in his apartment at the end of a month-long investigation, authorities said.

Ickimi R. Green was taken into custody after 15th Circuit Drug Enforcement Unit agents and Georgetown police officers executed a search warrant at Green’s home at the Hickory Knolls Apartments on Church Street, police said.

Authorities found marijuana and cocaine packaged for sale, along with scales, packaging materials, and an undisclosed amount of cash, according to officers.

A loaded .38 caliber revolver that had been reported stolen from Michigan was also recovered, police said.

Along with the search warrant police were armed with four drug distribution warrants and warrants from: family court, probation and parole and general sessions court regarding a robbery/ common law robbery warrant.

Green was taken to the Georgetown County Detention Center where he is being held on $130,000 bond for two distribution of cocaine charges and two distribution of a controlled substance charges within a half mile of a school or park, police said.

Additional warrants were also served on Green Friday morning for:

• possession with the intent to distribute cocaine

• distribution of marijuana

• possession of a stolen handgun

• three additional counts of distribution/ possession with intent to distribute within a half mile of a school or park
