Victim taken to hospital after shooting at Third Avenue sports bar, police investigating
Myrtle Beach police are investigating after a shooting happened early Halloween morning, Lt. Joey Crosby, Myrtle Beach police spokesman, said.
Officers were called about 3:55 a.m. to a sport’s bar at 1102 Third Avenue South in reference to the shooting, police said.
A preliminary investigation revealed a shooting happened in the bar parking lot after a fight occurred, Crosby said.
The victim was taken to the hospital and his condition was unknown early Saturday afternoon, authorities said.
More information will be released as soon as it is provided, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
