Myrtle Beach police searching for man and 2-year-old girl

Myrtle Beach police are asking the public’s help in finding a man and 2-year-old girl.

Authorities are looking for Johnathan Carter and Brooklyn Carter, 2, police said on Friday in a Facebook posting on the department’s page.

On Wednesday, Carter took the child from the Coral Reef Resort in Myrtle Beach, police said. He may be traveling to Charlotte, N.C. or the Spartanburg County area and is possibly driving a 1995 Dodge Grand Caravan with the license plate SC LBQ232, authorities said.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of either Johnathan or Brooklyn Carter can call 843-918-1382 and reference case number 15-022752.
