Police respond to shooting at Jefferson Place in Myrtle Beach
One man was taken to the hospital after police responded to a shooting at Jefferson Place in Myrtle Beach Tuesday night.
Officers were called about 6:05 p.m. to an apartment building at the 6700 block of Jefferson Place where a 60-year-old male, gunshot victim was discovered.
Police said the victim was found in an upstairs bedroom and taken to Grand Strand Regional Hospital.
Lt. Joey Crosby, spokesman with Myrtle Beach police, said the victim’s condition is currently unknown.
Crosby said a preliminary investigation showed the victim and suspect were roommates.
A suspect was apprehended, according to a police report, but no charges were filed as of Wednesday morning.
