Four charged with attempted murder after reported drive-by shooting

Horry County police arrested four people in connection with attempted murder after a drive-by shooting happened at a home on Glen Haven Drive in Myrtle Beach, authorities said.

Christina A. Terrell, 17, of Myrtle Beach, Jamie Boudreau, 17, of Green Sea, Dustin Butler, 29, of Midway Park, N.C., and Anthony Blancato,18, of Myrtle Beach are each charged with attempted murder following the shooting incident, Lt. Raul Denis, Horry County police spokesman, said.

Officers were called about 4:15 p.m. Saturday to a home on Glen Haven Drive, near Palmetto Pointe Boulevard, where a 17-year-old girl and 17-year-old boy told police the suspects, who they said they knew, drove by in a blue Chevrolet Malibu and fired gunshots at them while they were sitting in their garage with the door up, police said.

“Multiple shots were fired but fortunately no one was hurt,” Denis said.

Shots fired hit a tire, and police said one shot left a hole in the garage wall near where one of the victim’s had been sitting, authorities said.

Police said one of the victims had surveillance footage of a dark blue Chevrolet Malibu driving by slowly.

Denis said the suspects were quickly found and taken into custody.

All arrested suspects were being held at J. Reuben Long Detention Center Tuesday morning.

Terrell and Boudreau are each being held on $50,000 bond, jail records show.

Butler is being held on $50,500 bond and is charged with failure to appear in court in connection with a previous incident, in addition to attempted murder, jail records show.

Blancato is being held on $50,515 bond and is also charged with failure to appear in court in connection with a previous incident, in addition to attempted murder, according to records.
