Woman reports man sexually assaulted her after watching football game with her husband
A woman told Myrtle Beach police a man watching a football game at a bar with her husband left at halftime and sexually assaulted her after forcing his way into her home, authorities said.
Larry Jacobs, 35, was arrested Wednesday and is charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct and first-degree burglary, jail records show.
Police said on Sept. 3, Jacobs went to watch a football game with the victim’s husband at a Myrtle Beach bar and at halftime he told the victim’s husband he had to leave to pick up his daughter.
The victim said Jacobs went to her Myrtle Beach home and told her he “knows that she wants him,” according to the police report.
The victim said that after a brief argument at the door, Jacobs pushed her into the house and into the laundry room where he allegedly assaulted her, authorities said.
Police investigated the incident after it was reported Sept. 6 at the Myrtle Beach Police Department.
Jacobs is being held at the J. Reuben Detention Center on $60,000 bond, according to jail records.
