Woman assaulted after a night of dancing and drinking

Myrtle Beach Police are investigating an alleged assault on Ocean Boulevard.

The victim tells police she was walking south on Ocean Boulevard Saturday morning around 2 a.m. when the incident happened.

According to the police report, she had just left a bar on the 600 block of North Ocean Blvd after a night of dancing and drinking.

The victim alleges that a black male grabbed her and pulled her off the boulevard and then several other males surrounded her.

The victim says four men pulled her clothes off and assaulted her while several others watched, according to the report.

After getting away from the men, she ran to a nearby hotel where a security guard called police and she was transported to the hospital.
